Starlight

The cosmos that passes over our world each night is truly magnificent and opportunities to experience the splendor of it all on a clear and unpolluted night are far too rare. We can’t begin to comprehend the timeless depth of this unimaginably immense space in which we all reside. Gazing into that glorious firmament may conjure thoughts and retrospection unique to each individual, but I am forever stuck with the undeniable reality of my smallness. What import might the spec of my seemingly miniscule existence play within this massive expanse? And within the very thought, some unseen voice deep within my soul whispers that despite how insignificant I may sometimes feel … somehow, I matter!
